afg is a confusing story, has the market misjudged afg, as mr wb say's the market can distort the spare price of a company. a bad year a mistake, or losing market share,But companys have been able to turn it around nab, mcdonalds etc.
however, with afg was it a "poor earnings" that caused the down turn in its shareprice.
On one hand great story with its alternative assets on the other hand paying full and even above for alpt in trouble, not very smart business transaction. If they have a strong balance why did they not venture in a growth industry eg leasing planes etc..
my conclusion we do have all the facts, its punt in the end without the facts.
