That's mining. Underground conditions can be unpredictable and it is dangerous. There was a death just a couple of months ago.

I agree with your reasons to short (apart from weather), and the likelihood for further bad reporting. I just can't gauge how late you are to the party - given that issues have been known for a long time. However, troubles tend to snowball and retailers are often slow to react (Lynas being a classic example) - so plenty of opportunities to short are likely to still exist.

FWIW - I currently have the put warrants ready to trigger on my watchlist for when a get an early heads-up on definitive outcomes of the tax issues relating to EO79.
