re: shareholder discount card Art - we also have boycotted CML since they slapped their customers in the face with a week old fish. So with the 11 people that live in our house, CML gets $0 a week and Safeway and Aldi gets it all.
I have found Aldi to be the best shopping around, and shopping at a Safeway next to an Aldi is cheapest as well, as they drop their prices to look more competitive.
CML's flybys and fuel offer as their CEO calls it does not cut the mustard with us.
CML the loser - the customer is king.
