I disagree.

While I can see how the negative and scaremongers too easily paint the picture that all is lost, and I may be alone in seeing this, but I didn`t see the announcement as doom and gloom.

Yes the mortality/deformities are disappointing.

But,

- in principle partnership with Kinki University (who have successfully bred SBT in captivity)
- Scale down of kingfish operations to sustainable levels and switch of focus to SBT
- intellectual property value
- potential here for white knight is likely, based on changes to global catch limits, and need for sustainable future.

While this is a big risk and could fail (like any speculative new technology), to me reaction was panic sell.
