PS, watching 6/7 trained swat police trying to squeeze through...

PS, watching 6/7 trained swat police trying to squeeze through the same door simultaneously when proceedings began was not a very professional look. Yet, sky news reporter went to great lengths to tell viewers that o/s journos present were all talking how professional our police reacted. im sorry, i dont want to bash the men and women of the nsw police force, but to this untrained eye, i dont see it. If thats standard operating practice on how to enter a building in these situations , i dont want to ever be in that situation. To me it looked like they were caught completely by surprise and after 17hrs im not sure how.
PPS can any one tell me what a channel 7 reporter was doing next to a sniper across the street??? certainly close enough to hear him radio 'hostage down' . all seems very strange to me.
