What was this, this afternoon?

Is it an attempt by someone (with the help of "the bots") to scare people into selling? ie "gee, unsure of wtf is happening so a 3.84 bird in the hand is worth > 4.00 in the bush?"

while buyer thinks: "play some games & get as many as I can for as cheaply as I can - realising that will ultimately have to pay whatever to get control".

I have little or no idea other than hanging onto my few for some time yet - so any theories welcome.
