Yep you have a good point there, pack mentality make people feel less responsible for what they do just look at the news footage of the killings in the streets in the 3rd world country's in political turmoil.
But these men i have mentioned acted on their own. I just don't see the comparison.
I have seen a lot of things in the last 20 years that most people would shudder to read about. Being a Prison Officer for 8 years in maximum security and a Cop for 14 years after that.
By the way I have met a lot of people who I have really liked there too.
The human race is by far the cruelest animals on this planet.
