The Rudd bank is like a lender of last resort for Aust companises (REITS) that have good assets but because they have overseas lenders that may not want to refinance
It won't help share price (might) but it means it won't be insolvent as per ourr mate Jintao - long term holder of GMG, end is nigh, dead man walking etc etc
