dead or alive?, page-3

  1. 1 Posts.
No news is good news. The lack of news probably means the fingerlings aren't all dead. At this point the fish are(hopefully) still swimming at around 62 days old, in a previous announcement CSS stated:

"Company policy is to provide Investor Updates on the SBT spawning and larval rearing season at critical times in the annual lifecycle development program as follows:
    1.
Commencement and cessation of SBT broodstock spawning.
    2.
Transfer of fingerlings for controlled grow‐out trials to either sea cages or holding tanks.
    3.
Significant progress and/or failures with grow‐out trials, e.g. number of SBT juveniles living post 180 days hatch."

So yea at this point we have accomplished the first 2 and will have about 4 months until juveniles are around 180 days. Im sure we will have updates before then but with respect to something truly significant we will have to wait. The way i see it though, the longer these fish are living in the sea cages, their life expectancy must be increasing. If they didn't die straight away its not to far fetched to suggest they are copping pretty well, therefore, health and growth should be increasing exponentially as we progress.

As Jov88 mentioned CSS have had fish grow past the grow out phase (however not commercial amounts), lets hope we have that occur again this time around.
