I was simply stating the lay of the land. Many oilies, spec or otherwise, have struggled for some time to gain support in the market.
Personally i dont know why. Maybe other commodities have been sexier Iron ore, gold, earlier Uranium. I think there has been a general perception that price of oil will retreat to US$60. This seems to be changing slowly.
Market conditions do not help.
I bought into this stock because i believed that the business model is a good one. It would seem we are on the cusp of seeing the model make one full turn in relation to some assets.
I have come this far so am prepared to see it through.
Panicking at the bottom when the market has tanked is not good investment strategy to my way of thinking.
The profitable sale and consequent reinvestment of funds will be where the value is to be added, negotiations are ongoing. Additionally of course the Co will benefit from higher prices for its products as will be reflected in the coming qtr.
This Co is not a wildcat play.Give the model a chance.
The Co stated that negotiations are ongoing in the Barnett shale, this could be huge especially with gas price atm and focus shifting to energy stocks.
Just my opinion.
