Almost 15 years and still here @Bigmaan
The last year or so has been the most painful with high expectations then constant delays. And of course large paper losses. But then that has been life for most of us in Covid times and for some us the worst bushfires ever and now the worst floods.
Sorry to hear about your mate. He is is worse off than most of us here but let’s hope he is one of the lucky ones and ultimately can get the best results. I have a friend in a similar position who now remains cancer free. Like you say, you need to keep the faith.
