Yeah, it "wants" to split roughly along the line from Smithtown Bay to the North, through Lake Ronkonkoma, in the middle, and Connetquot River into Nicoll Bay in the South. Just follow the rivers, lakes, and ponds.
It used to be a beautiful place a hundred years ago or so.
