Just watched a show
Lost treasure of the Maya Snake Kings

They fly over the jungle using LIDAR
The good bit is when they left the  office and headed down to the area.
To take a look at a pyramid  standing alone in the jungle
   Dropped off by helicopter and marched off into the jungle for a few miles ,.... ok GPS location fine ..
But the guy pulls out a Laptop which has Augmented reality just like in the SAFRAN  video ..
Can't see 10 feet in front of you  ;ok
Holds it up and rotates looking at the screen moving around in a circle  [ All the vegetation is removed by LIDAR]  BANG there it is  on his screen  100 feet away .. Can't see shit in front of you even when the guy was ten feet away  from the pyramid [ vegetation  dense ]
