It may be a possibility that a sweetner needs to be given by MEO to satisfy the needs of the farminee and/or CUE so as to get the deal across the line.
It was pretty obvious on Friday that a bot was trying to push down the price through 33/32.5c but could not as a lot more buyers came on at 33c so that it all ended square. Just check the size and regularity of the sales. This was noted by a few obervers on this thread on Friday too.
Suffice to say, one of the parties may have some more shares as part of a sweetner deal? This is pure deduction however and hopefully all the parties to the agreement will have enough commonsense and recognise the benefits of having the deal finalised so we can all get on with our day jobs.
