The inevitable conclusion I have come to after my time in HC (and especially ODN) is that only three types of investors make money on the market.

1. The Lucky: Those with the pure luck of unwittingly buying a stock before it goes up and then locking in the gain.

2. The Insiders: The bustards who (despite any trading laws) have their 1% buddies and inside advisers telling them exactly when to buy and sell.

3. Pump and Dumpers: Where HC comes into its own. The buggers who know how to spin and also know how to get in and out fast.

The old fashioned 1950's idea of investing in a potential business for the long term is just for fools (like me).
