Interesting that there has been no word concerning the completion of Medimmune Stage1.
Back in June, PYC were happy with progress of MMStage1. Obviously, at present there would be intense scrutiny of PYCs results by Medimmune.
This deal has the potential to dramatically grow in size. Stage1 was looking to find a biologic lead against just one target(a proof of concept). There are quite a few 'hospital acquired infections' or superbugs that show resistance to many of the current antibiotics.
Astrazeneca(Medimmune) are at the fore-front of research into new generation antibiotics and if they are pleased with PYCs results, there could be a lot of work come our way.
