"Which bloke and which café?"

There was a guy who went to the same cafe as me in the Adelaide hills. We both used to look at the afr, so when one of us had finished with it we would pass it to the other.

He worked for Santos, so he would answer my oil and gas queries and I would put him onto biotechs and other things. He's been a great help over the years, and currently helping me with exr (the next gas giant imho).

He has done really well on my tips, in fact better than me. I put him on to Ipernia which ended up changing focus and becoming nearmap. I wasn't too convinced of nearmap, so I sold out at 17c. I think he has been selling in $3+ area.

I often wonder just how much my tips have made him. But he's pretty savvy with tech stocks too. He left Santos long ago, and he's still youngish.

So blokes in cafes can be good. But then so can HC.

A geo called Tastarga once saved me over $10k with his expertise. Unfortunately he hasn't posted anything for 4 years.
