Yes, IMO something is coming. They have been very specific in naming energy acquisitions outside of the US. The fact that they are looking for a placement specifically to fund an acquisition means that a deal is likely and probably fairly soon.
More chance of getting approval at the meeting for a placement with a deal on the table and more chance of securing the funds.
Keep in mind that this is tightly held, over 60% by top 20. It moved to 3.5c on no news a couple of months back. When it runs, it does so quickly.
