About
50Mt @ 2% Zn in the tailings.
A little bit in the open pit western wall, but unsuitable to mine.
And a little bit in old underground workings from over 100yrs ago.
Those little bits MMG walked away from, so musn't be economic to extract.
The tailings could be interesting though.
Back of envelope numbers I heard was that the tailings was cashflow neutral at $2300/t US zinc price. So at $2800/t there could be something worthwhile chasing there.
