The letter just goes to show what a big hairy arsed project this was from ME 10 years ago when oil prices were north of $100. Since then
- FAR increased their stake in Senegal (thanks to the deal of the decade)
- survived the GFC
- brought in 2 quality JV partners
- been able to raise capital to fund 6 successful wells during a severe downturn in oil prices in identifying a "whale pasture"
- secure an option over the DJ block
A great letter from an industry expert. What FAR have done is incredibly difficult. Long term holders should be proud of the achievements of this little battler over the last 10 years. It certainly put a smile on my face this morning and has encouraged me to perhaps hoover up a few more for my very modest holding.
