It is interesting to note that today's 'Business Spectator' reports that Brazil's Cosan is planning to transfer its sugar, ethanol, fuel distribution and energy generation units into an joint venture with Royal Dutch Shell.

Given recent events and the present circumstances CSR finds itself in, this type of arrangement could have possible implications for restructuring a deal for the sugar business.
