Completion of Acquisition of Cockatoo Island
10th September, 2012 Melbourne: The Directors of Pluton Resources Limited (ASX Code: PLV) are pleased to advise that the acquisition of the Cockatoo Island iron ore project has now been finalised after completion of all Conditions Precedent.
The Company will commence operations on Cockatoo on the 1st October, 2012.
Pluton has paid the stamp duty required on the transaction, and is currently in negotiations to fund the required statutory environmental bonds when they are due.
Further details regarding the Cockatoo Island project will be announced in due course.
