MEDIC VISION SIGNS DISTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT FOR RUSSIA

The Board of Medic Vision Ltd (Medic Vision) is pleased to announce the signing of a distributor agreement in Russia with Intermedica Ltd (Intermedica), a leading medical and surgical simulation agent. Pursuant to the contract, Intermedica have committed to the purchase of a Medic Vision simulator in preparation for one of the largest medical fairs in Russia, the 17th International Exhibition of Healthcare, Medical Engineering and Pharmaceuticals, where they will promote and exhibit Mediseus Epidural.

Ross Horley, CEO of Medic Vision, commented “Intermedica is the ideal partner to initiate Medic Vision’s point of entry in to Russia, where they have established channels of distribution across the country and are specialist in selling simulation devices to the medical and surgical market.”

Russia has approximately 608,588 doctors and 1,388,349 paramedics, 9,663 in-patient hospitals, 16,615 out-patient polyclinics. Over the past two years the government has more than doubled health care spending to in excess of US$7 billion, and has placed rebuilding the health system as a top political agenda.

Medic Vision’s Executive Director, Frank Cannavo, who was present to oversee the signing of the agreement with Intermedica, also met with Moscow State Medical Academy and the Russian Ministry of Health, including representatives from Department of Science and Education and the Division of Methodology and Planning of Medical Education. The objective in these meetings was to establish key contacts to assist in the deployment of Medic Vision’s strategy for the management and development of skills training facilities and deployment of simulators in Russia.
