corporate activity is at its highest towards the end of december and june of each year, mainly due to firms wanting to settle transactions before year end and also tax reasons
foreign companies (europe and states) have a december year end, hence if there is a progressing deal in the pipe there may be a "push" to get it over the line for reporting purposes.
let's hope this is the case with the number of deals ado has on the go
