Hi dolce - the 'man' being accused of nudging the stock was me so it was a self-reference.
You accused me of market manipulation so not sure I was bound to respond with sweetness and light but sexism is not my go and I am actually careful to be gender neutral when I post.
Like I keep saying I don't think I am that important that I can influence say the 30 people queued at 12.5 to pull out or the however many over the other side to sell cheaper and I really don't think a web forum is what they are using to gauge their entry points. And in any event, even if anyone is following Tan after all the money I have lost (e.g. SLX, and WOW falling from $33 to $30ish recently as just 2 examples of my poor picks) then they have serious issues and need to revise their investment plan.
I have never called a timeline because I have no idea. Others have constantly - whether it be calls of 'two weeks', 'months', 'before April', 'before the next quarter', 'before the techs head into the labs', 'when Geoff is in NY as he wouldn't be there unless a deal was on the table', 'before the Euro summer', 'before xmas' etc etc. Clearly these people have no idea either but are doing it for their own reasons - whether they want the price to go up, or they want to make themselves feel better, or whether they one day hope they will be right - AFL recruiters call this the 'shotgun theory' - sign up 50 local juniors every year and hope one of them is the next Buddy Franklin so that people will only remember the one time they got it right and forgive them there 49 wrong calls every year.
From the results of predictions we saw this year about timelines (zero correct) it has to be objectively concluded that nobody has any clue but people keep calling them for their own reasons. The board of ADO and the third parties may have an idea but fortunately or unfortunately they are not on HC. Perhaps people should be aggrieved at people who called the timelines and were repeatedly wrong.
Having said all that as I have said before many times the longer it takes the better it suits me as something will get signed eventually.
We will have to agree to disagree on Bond for now. I think the institution is plop but I haven't had any contact with them for years so there is a chance they have lifted their game so maybe my position is outdated.
