I had experience with hammer mills in a Phosphoric Acid Plant to reduce Naru phosphate rock to fine powder. Can't see the need for that with a nuggety feed. Maybe after the nuggets and coarse gold are separated use then to get the last few grains. Best let the experts decide after the ore is fully understood.
Those hammer mills were a hassle - on humid days they got blocked up and had to be stripped.
