I'm sure many more will give time to help obtain a better site.

However not everyone is sat around waiting for a days notice to go and test. Just like the real world a plan needs to be published and some dates put around it, so the testers can try and make themselves available.

Rather than do this in a vacuum , why not engage some of the techs who use HC?

You may have heard of a company called Pipe Networks (taken over by TPG a couple of years ago). The devoted a web site to their project of laying an internet pipe from Guam to Sydney. They had their techs detail any problems or situations, and it was amazing the genuine help they got (free) from interested parties. Their Project plan was in the public domain for all to see, there wins and their misses where out there for all to see. They made mistakes along the way, but everyone was batting for them and helping them to get there. They did it, and the SHs were rewarded. It's amazing what can be achieved when the crowd is motivated to assist.
