    Actually you are wrong about that. Lots of people bought CER at 10c and were down more than 60% at the 2.3 level accordingly. Those that ignored the red heart Buffet saying why they shoud sell ended up being more than 200% ahead. My own view was that Buffet was buying the whole time.

    Of course if you were wrong in your belief that the NTA was >40c and the stock went to nil than you lose the lot - BUT such is always a reality of markets. You get it wrong than you should expect to lose.

    It is my view that participation in forums is bad for many market participants as they lack the research skills or intestinal fortitude, and often both, to stick to their views when the market goes against them. They end up selling something worth >40c at 2c simply because others are.... and a red heart is telling them the risks at every opportunity.
