A good article. Echuca Shoals may prove to be more valuable than Crux, and being 30kms from Prelude a great fit for Shell. But that may also devalue Crux as Shell may not need it to back-fill production once Prelude runs dry (plus it is some distance away). A sell-out / poor deal on ES may not be in our interests.
But the article is right, having the ES (100% owned) permit in the best address in Browse is not to be underestimated.
Cant help but think, NXS MUST be a very attractive takeover target for Shell. The sum of the parts way exceeds current market value. Sell off Longtom for a bit more cream and you have picked up a steal. I guess its all a question of price which shouldn't be that hard.
The Inpex plant in Darwin just confirms the value of Gas coming from the North West, I just hope NXS remains part of the excitement
