    Vaga,

It is usually an accepted way of doing business with a firm that you have had dealing with before, that they will issue you with an invoice. But the issue is only being allowed to be done in that way when a credit rating has been previoulsy recorded.

If you have had no dealings with someone for at least a couple of business transactions before, and established that credit ratings relationship, chances are that you will have to pay cash upfront or using a credit card.

There are too many businesses going belly up out there and no one is willing to deal and/or offer credit with people that they haven't built that relationship first.

Have a good look at what is happening with Reed Construction out there now, and how many subcontractors of theirs got caught in that predicament while facing the possibility of having to bear and write off huge losses. You will soon realise what I mean. Who would have thought that they were in that predicament, even when they had hundreds of millions of dollars of Government Construction Works ahead of them.

Things are tuff out there mate and have been for a long time. Ask the Private Enterprise Businesses and you'd soon find out. Cash has become the mode of most transaction today, because cash is king.
