Perhaps the Pegasus "coup" has served it's purpose - there may have never actually really been a "vision". M&A strategy my harris. They clearly want the executive chairman out, and perhaps the II's do also. So if he steps down and they get someone else in place, more independent, then they can crack on with the drilling. Get the rest of the shorts bought back at rock bottom prices using the buy back scheme and happy days all round - for the II's that is.
Once the shackles are of they can then sell into/post any rises that come out of any success in Brazil.
Or perhaps I'm being too cynical here!
