Between the banks and the ruling politicians, they are unbelievably causing hardship to the everyday Australian, the banks with their interest rate rises to cool the possible overheating economy, where no matter what happens, the banks keep raking the money in, (or take the house back), and the people have to keep guessing what the banks are going to do next and battle even harder.,
Now with this garnaud ?? report which will make it even more difficult for us to trade on the world scene, - with b/s climate models and figures being used. (see Piers Ackerman Sun Telegraph ) and also costing Australians more to live.
Talk about the Labour Govt. wanting to reduce Inflation....
that's all they seem to be causing or allowing, with more to come.
The Govt. should be acting more now instead of instigating and waiting for reports/committees, where nothing really gets done.
Less talk..... More action.
Get our nuclear power started (if it can be done without affecting the environment, etc.)
Immediately start helping the Thermal technology companies (GDY, TEY, etc.) and Solar companies to get into operation.
Put more money straight away into fast tracking hybrid motor vehicles, - gas/elect/hydrogen.
Just DO something !!
Also, get rid of our tax system and have a debit tax system.
These are just some of my thoughts on this subject
There are simpler answers to our countries problems but there are vested interests that will stop this from happening IMO,.... to our own detriment.
