Report was not too bad, but then again, it was not fantastic either.
RUL seems to be burdened by a lot of expenses, and led by management teams that did not have a clear vision of where they're heading. The grandeur of being 'THE' largest mining technology provider in the world (repeatedly mentioned in job ads, announcements, etc..)seems to weigh them down. My impression of RUL was of similar to Elvis Presley in his dying days, fat and unhealthy.
However, all hope is not gone..:) The challenge is for the new Managing Director to turn things around. Cleans all the fat, yuck, and zombies and starts to actually working. He just bought under 5% of the company, and that's saying something. It's a big tick, and I think the market likes it.
I think I'll wait around for a little while..
