Yes there have been huge hikes in power bill in recent year, here in WA we have had a 64% increace since Barrnett came to power, only 2.6% is due to the CT.

I note that my PAYG bill has come down, since the tax free freshold has come down, I would say the avergage low to middle income would have have more take home pay. That may be par of the reason for the trend of improving ALP 2PP.
