Death Before Inheritance

JEDDAH, 20 March 2006 — A Saudi died while trying to steal the entire estate of his dead father, Al-Yaum daily reported. In order to do so, the son used documents that needed his father’s fingerprints. He hid the documents in his clothes and told the family that he wanted to be alone with his father’s body for a few minutes. He closed the door behind him and when he did not come out for a long time, the family became alarmed and knocked on the door but received no answer. When they opened the door, they found the man dead on the floor beside his father’s body. He had died trying to get his father’s fingerprint on a document in order to inherit the entire estate.
