You forgot to mention you must have been visiting during an extreme storm or cyclone as the shut down wind speed is close to 100kph, depending on the design. They automatically restart as the wind speed drops to the operational maximum.
I'm surprised they still gave a guided tour under such extreme circumstances. Surely it must have been frightening for everyone out in the open at such an exposed site. How could you hear each other talking over the storm?
It does seem a bit dumb, perhaps BS is a more accurate description?
