Dbl21 good post, but am surprised - doesn't this just highlight the extreme pressures faced by Qantas management in the global market??
Great example of why the Unions should be working with Qan management to become more competetive, rather than making unrealistic demands.
Biggest problem with Unions, they are so short sighted - as long as they get their big pay rises, new hangars, 3 types of ice cream in the cafeteria, they claim a morale win. Yet it's never there fault when coy goes bankrupt 3 yrs later!
