Why wouldn't you go overseas?
8 hours flying to Kl plus transfers either end realistically is 12 hours travel time,most on a cramped plane, Compared to a 3 hour drive North or South of Sydney to beautiful beaches and national parks. With 3 young kids this is a big factor
Easy to take all the boogie boards, fishing gear and bikes in the car
Not being hassled to buy a watch, massage etc on the beach
Safe food and water though obviously Kl would be fine
Keep the money here and support struggling Aussie tourism businesses
You can't get chikos in Asia
