Completely obvious that he has rehabilitated , you are correct macrae12 ..few here care ..and what message does this send ? ..Well for a start never be co-operative with Singaporean authorities .Whats the point ? This is an absolute tragedy which should certainly not be be just " just accepted " ..as the way it is . THe Australian government has done little .. now Downer goes in harder than ever so the poor mother can hug her son !! What a joke !! This guy is an an " ant " a bit player ..who has really done very little . Im really annoyed with the acceptance of such a verdict by far too many , what a pack of sheep we become .
This is an action which is totally unacceptable , an action that must not be allowed to pass as " you did the crime " ..this is a society where you cannot sit with your partner and watch an xx rated video .
No one in Australia should accept this verdict , sit back and say " Im alright " ..there is a lot more at stake ..certainly we must stand up to Singapore , the Australian governments efforts have been nothing short of pathetic .. little interest .
Make no mistake .. This is NOT fair justice , its time the government actually made a commitment to the cause .Not just play policitics and dance around the subject Allow this man the opportunity to face the Australian system.
