I don't understand why people are concerned at all if the government takes a small portion of whatever you leave behind. Don't you understand that none of it is any further use to you? You can't take it with you lol. Having said that I have a family I'd like to leave something to so I'd like death duties to have a cut-in point say above 100 grand exluding the family home and also be limited to around 10% of the estate value above that.
