    One thing I don't think many understand, if you lived in Argentina and had put some of your savings into gold, your savings would still be in tact. The price of gold does not need to go up for it to protect your savings. If someone says that gold is not a good hedge against inflation, ask them to speak to the lucky few in Argentinian.
