I'm not talking about who has CFI approval. I'm pointing out balance sheet value.
Who do you think CCF purchases their land from? Primarily farmers. They are paying above farmland value (in fact, some of the land is their low quality farm land anyway ... ).
Balance sheet is purchase price (and maybe capitalise expenses - not sure). My point is that the likelihood that anyone will pay balance sheet value for the land is, IMO, extremely low.
This is one company that you'd not want to buy thinking the balance sheet would hold up in any sale situation - stressed or otherwise.
