Being a 20-something saving to buy I am hopeful that post the FHOG and with increasing unemployment that finally the air will be taken out of the bubble at the lower end of the market, not looking for a crash but a correction of 10% or so would seem reasonable.
Someone show me an asset that has gone up in price in a straight line and I'll believe that property will keep rising unabated, until then, I'd expect the lower to middle part of the market won't be seeing much growth over the next years (unless due to inflation).
I'm praying for no more government incentives and lets get rid of easy debt and get back to long term averages.
