debt for equity swap, page-27

My guess now is that the banks knew CNP and BNB are crap companies, unable to run long before we good citizens "sniff the poo". IMO, liquidating BNB would probably be useless for debt holders since NTA is zero. Doing a D for E swap(most likely only unsecured debt swap) is the only way to pump in positive, manipulative sentiment so "punters and ignorant investors" could go crazy and push the sp higher as seen in CNP. Only then, the banks will be able to offload their equities at a much higher price, at the expense of "punters and ignorant investors" of course. The banks should pay like 2c for each share swap (massive dilution) so if the price is manipulated back to 50c, they will make 25x their money.

Is this illegal? I guess the most honorable thing for the banks to do is put this sick puppy to sleep so no more people will get infected.
    DYOR.
