Buy MCR on a major pullback. Its got great management. I am out of it now (holding WSA instead as a more likely near term takeover target), but I keep looking at MCR all the time.

VRE got about 5 cents (I think) per share for CH and has lost 70% of any Ni it may have on its gold lease. MCR has the ability to sniff out Ni, so it must be a worthwile deal for them.

VRE may survive on the basis of higher gold price until its gold deposit is worked out. I tend to believe gold will go much higher, but its just a belief. VRE must find more gold for longer term survival. I would be surprised if they pay any dividend as they will need the profits to fund exploration and deals.

Its a hard choice whether to sell or not at this stage. For me its a question of the extent to which one can trust management, and how good their exploration activities are going to be (ie gambling).

I have to say I had a slight urge to buy back in at around 18 cents.
