What a waste!!
its a crying shame that CNP hanst been able to buy its own debt back at such reduced prices!!
IMO, CNP could have retired about $500 million of their debt if they had done this and begun to reduce LVR by a good level. Dont know what exact effect that could have had on NTA. Needed a white knight though, or stacks of cash and a few asset sales to complete it.

(I would give my right arm to buy my own mortgage back at 60% of its principle)
