I suspect that you have not understood what was told to you.
What I assume you were told was what I was told, and that is the LH mine project finance stays with the project (of which CNNC now own 25%).
Of course the buyer does not take on any debt. Do you personally take on any of PDN's debt when you buy shares in PDN? No! The debt stays in PDN of which you own a % of through your share ownership.
