Many of us have gone to the bank for a loan to purchase a house. We have taken verification the house is worth a certain amount and it is generally very easy to get the loan as long as we have proof that the payments can be made. I have a great mistrust of "sophisticated investors" who always seem to be able to get any capital raising. It is those "sophisticated investors" that I believe have played the games we have seen over the last couple of months. They have hurt this mug investor whose retirement is impacted by my investment. Neon has quantifiable present assets (California) and income to cover the payments. I don't see why it would not be that difficult for Neon to borrow the funds required for the exploitation of the Vietnam properties.
