BSL/Onesteel generally do a 30k plus shipment ex Brisbane into PK every six weeks or so, the last one they brought in was from Adelaide I believe. One due early June. Sea rates certainly cheaper than road or rail ex Brisbane and Adelaide even with short haul and stevedoring costs both ends for the vessels, sea cheaper by about $15 a ton. BSL always chase the cheaper option and negotiate hard, unlike the previous Santa Clause Arrium management providing gifts of high priced contracts who ever walked in the door.
If Rooty Hill are not making money now they'll never make money, concrete trucks everywhere in Sydney day and night. Hytec, Hanson and Concrite, Boral, etc would be making a fortune with a number of years to go.
