You borrow 50k from them and they want it back in 6 weeks. Come 6 weeks you say "well my horse bets didn't win" but I have a good job and income. I can pay you back in about 12 months time.

Now they say.. "Are we a charity?" no and in the big scheme of things you've failed you part of the deal.

At which point they right you and the debt off.
